Jess Lane of Hire Space is our next PM Story

Today I’m delighted to publish our next PM Story, featuring Jess Lane of Hire Space, who I met up with in London earlier this year. Hire Space is a London startup that matches people who need to host an event with suitable venues. Jess proves that you don’t need a technical background to move into Product Management, having graduated from the University of Cambridge three years ago with a degree in English Literature.

As you can tell, we recorded this Story outside, and the background noise gets a bit loud towards the end, but you can follow along by enabling subtitles, or reading the transcript.

I’ve also scheduled another delivery of the product.careers presentation, and will be heading to the UCL School of Management at their new location in Canary Wharf on December 1st to present to this year’s MSc Entrepreneurial Technology class.
